The Megemeria School of Jewelry & Art is based in the beautiful and newly renovated Yvel Design Center (YDC), home to the Yvel jewelry factory and offices. The YDC is located along the road leading to Jerusalem in a modernized architectural complex fully incorporating a winery built over 160 years ago. Yvel offers organized tours of the YDC and tourists from around the world are welcome to visit year-round.

Megemeria Craft Center
The life, culture, story and journey of Ethiopian Jewry come to life in The Megemeria Craft Center. Indulge your senses with the music, smells and sights of a far-away Ethiopian village in a unique experience of tradition and faith. Explore traditional works of art and jewelry and enjoy a traditional coffee ceremony.
Auditorium
As you make your way indoors you will have the pleasure of relaxing in the Yvel Theater. There you will view a 3-D film exploring the remarkable process of pearl formation and the jewelry manufacturing processes at Yvel.

Megemeria School of Jewelry & Art was established in 2010 as a philanthropic effort to better the lives of Ethiopian immigrants to Israel. Here you will observe the students at work and have the opportunity to purchase the unique handcrafted jewelry to help support the continuation of the school.
High-end Jewelry Showroom
Later as you stroll through the jewelry showrooms, Yvel’s extensive collections of pearl and gemstone jewelry will catch your eye. Personal style guides are available to assist you in selecting the designs that best fit your style and budget.
Wine Tasting
Your tour guide will lead you to the vintage Yvel Wine Cellar before completion of the tour. Enjoy the cool air and special atmosphere while tasting complimentary samples of select Israeli wines produced in nearby boutique wineries.

Collaboration with the Friends of Zion Museum

The Friends of Zion Museum presents a technologically advanced and interactive experience that tells the stories of both the dream to restore the Jewish people to their historic homeland and the brave non-Jews who assisted them in realizing this dream.The Foz Museum serves as a platform for fighting BDS and anti-Semitism internationally. The Museum is a non-profit organization operating in Jerusalem and supported by friends from all over the world.
